Little Golden One

We rescued you not so long ago but it felt like you’d been with us forever. You were always a mystery and an enigma, but special nonetheless. Full of beautiful, golden feathers, you seemed so unique and different, and you remained so until your last breath. Your life was cruelly cut short, but we hope you know we tried our hardest to make you better again. You meant just as much to us as all the other chicks, and we will treasure our moments with you forever.

We hope we gave you a better and more fulfilled life than you had before, and we hope you know that we always loved you and always will do no matter what. Enjoy your forever freedom with all your sisters in Heaven, little chick xxx
