    Jemima had a difficult early life before she was rescued around 2019. She deeply distrusted humans at first, but eventually opened up into a gentle, loyal and affectionate cat. She developed kidney disease, which she bravely battled until her death in May 2025. Her last years were full of love and care. She is deeply missed.
